Job Description
We are seeking an entrepreneurial and highly driven Sales & Business Development Manager to lead our business expansion efforts in Thailand. This is a hands-on role for a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record in the medical device sector. As a one-person team, the ideal candidate must be autonomous, resourceful, and ready to take ownership of sales growth in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Business Development: Identify, engage, and secure new business opportunities with hospitals, clinics, and distributors.
- Market Strategy: Develop and execute market entry and growth strategies tailored to Thailand’s healthcare environment.
- Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and decision-makers.
- Product Promotion: Present and promote cutting-edge medical device solutions, particularly in endoscopy, digestive health, and gastroenterology.
- Operational Excellence: Manage sales processes from lead generation to contract negotiation and after-sales service.
- Reporting: Regularly update the regional manager and supplier on sales activities, forecasts, and market insights.
Qualification Required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in medical device sales in Thailand.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, or a related field.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in the medical device industry.
- Industry Expertise: Preferably with experience in endoscopy, digestive health, or gastroenterology.
- Sales and Negotiation Skills: Exceptional ability to close deals and navigate complex sales cycles.
- Business Acumen: Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Autonomy: Ability to operate independently and thrive in a “one-man show” role
- Communication: Fluent in Thai (essential) and English (for regional collaboration and supplier communication).
- Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Thai healthcare system, including public tenders, private accounts, and KOL engagement.
- Networking: Proven ability to build and leverage professional networks in the healthcare industry.
