Job Description
A dynamic and experienced Hotel Manager to support the General Manager in overseeing the operations of our luxury hotel, with a particular emphasis on food and beverage management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality management, with proven leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role requires a strategic thinker who assists in driving revenue growth, maintain high standards of service, and cultivate a positive work environment for staff.
Responsibilities:
- Overall Hotel Operations:
- Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning across departments.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue, occupancy, and profitability.
- Food and Beverage Management:
- Oversee the food and beverage team to deliver outstanding dining experiences that exceed guest expectations.
- Support the creation of the development of new food and beverage concepts, innovative menus and beverage offerings and high service that reflect current trends and meet the needs of our discerning clientele.
- Monitor food hygiene, quality, presentation, and service standards to maintain consistency and excellence.
- Guest Experience:
- Foster a culture of exceptional guest service throughout the hotel.
- Respond promptly to guest feedback and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Implement initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
- Financial Management:
- Assist in preparing and managing the hotel budget, including revenue forecasting and expense control.
- Analyze financial reports and key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Staff Development and Training:
- Support recruitment, training, succession planning and motivate a high-performing team.
- Provide ongoing coaching and development to staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and employee engagement.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain quality standards and address any issues promptly.
- Marketing and Sales: Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop strategies to attract new guests and drive revenue growth.
- Participate in promotional activities and special events to promote the hotel and its food and beverage offerings.
- Community and Industry Engagement: Represent the hotel in the local community events.
- Build relationships with local businesses, suppliers, and stakeholders to enhance the hotel’s reputation and visibility.
Qualification Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience in luxury hotel management, with a focus on food and beverage operations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Solid understanding of financial management principles.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.
- Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Certification in hotel management or related field is a plus.
