Job Description

The Group HR Director will be responsible for overseeing all HR operations, developing strategies to enhance employee engagement, and ensuring alignment with Company Group’s people-first values and business goals. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of the luxury hospitality industry and a genuine passion for fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues with empathy and understanding.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract, hire, and retain top talent who share our commitment to exceptional service.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of our human capital.
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization, ensuring they reflect our people-first approach.
  • Nurture a positive working environment and organizational culture that prioritizes employee well-being and growth.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance while recognizing individual contributions.
  • Maintain a competitive pay plan and benefits program that values our employees’ hard work and dedication.
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor effective training programs that help our team grow both personally and professionally.
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics that highlight our commitment to our people.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management to protect and support our employees.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

    • Employee Retention Rate: Achieve employee retention rates comparable to top luxury hospitality brands, reflecting our supportive work environment.
    • Employee Engagement Scores: Attain employee engagement scores that are on par with leading luxury hospitality companies, demonstrating our commitment to our team’s satisfaction.
    • Time to Fill Vacancies: Reduce the average time to fill key positions to industry-leading benchmarks.
    • Training and Development: Ensure training completion rates are aligned with best practices in top hospitality brands, highlighting our dedication to employee growth.
    • HR Compliance: Maintain 100% compliance with local labor laws and HR regulations, consistent with industry standards and our commitment to our employees.
    • Employee Satisfaction: Increase overall employee satisfaction scores to match those of top-tier hospitality brands, showing our focus on a happy, motivated team.
    • Productivity: Improve overall employee productivity metrics to levels seen in leading luxury hospitality companies, driven by our supportive and empowering environment.
    • Net Promoter Score (NPS): Achieve an employee NPS that is competitive with the best luxury hospitality brands, reflecting our team’s loyalty and advocacy.
Qualification Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Relevant HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CIPD).
  • Experienced Luxury Hospitality HR Leader
  • Global HR Expert with Regional Experience
