Job Description
Our client is a manufacturer of industrial robots and solutions for factory automation.
Due to the recent expansion plan, they are in the midst of hiring a high caliber Customer Service Manager, to be based in Myanmar.
This person is responsible for the continuous development and performance of the subsidiary.
Reports to Regional Head of Customer Service, Asia, Direct reports: 3~4, Location: Myanmar
Responsibilities
- Develop technical sales support team regionally and cross-sell different products e.g.
spare parts, services, training and long term contracts based on the well-known local
robot installed base. - In coordination with the Sales Team, he/she will provide technical support to our
integrators and system partners. - Develop field & repair, project execution, after-sales roles to ensure a high level of
customer satisfaction. - He will probably act as a trainer and coordinate and establish the local training center.
Liaised closely with Germany for technical input and solutions in order to instruct
local customers on products based on global standards. - The Customer Service Manager has to lead, control and develop his/her employees.
He/she has to coordinate his/her team with good and target-oriented leadership skills
and, very important, with a “hands-on” mentality. - He/she is responsible for the relevant local service actions due to product quality issues.
Profile - A service experienced person with an electrical and/ or mechanical (mechatronic)
Qualification Required
- A University degree (B.Sc., M.Sc.) in above-mentioned disciplines would be preferred
- Fluent in English.
- Several years of experience in the area of robotic systems (KUKA, ABB, Fanuc,
Motoman,..) or/ and automation/ automotive business - Experience in plant engineering, as well as mechanical & electrical troubleshooting, would be preferred.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel
- Good skills in MS-Office applications and ERP/ CRM (e.g. SAP)
- Good teamwork spirit a result orientated
- Strong ability in communication, coordination, and leadership
- Negotiation skills/experiences and the ability to construct official reports to customers
- Persuasiveness, assertiveness and confident appearance
