Job Description
Asia HR is looking for a Project Engineer position for an international contract medical device manufacturing company in Chonburi, Thailand.
- Manage Pre-NPI and NPI, lead the implementation of the project with continuous improvement to
ensure the manufacturing is carried out in efficient and cost-effective manner - Lead cross-functional team for RFQ, Pre-NPI and NPI to assure the project assigned, complete within schedule and pre-defined quality targets achieved
- Understand the customer specifications and company standards and, verify the same in the finished product.
- Technical owner for the product during all life cycle
- Build BOM structures in conjunction with all life cycle
- Continue to communicate with customer and provide high level support at mass production phase, e.g., cost reduction, test failure, ECO/ECN, etc.
- All other duties as assigned within all project phases
- Risk analysis for product and document package provided by customer.
- Prepare engineering efforts and validation efforts estimation for the project.
- Lead to prepare the investment for equipment and jig needed.
- Drive equipment and jig setup, validation or verification
- Lead Prototype build during Pre-NPI, NPI build and report.
- Project Kick-off meeting and tasks assigned to cross-functional team
- Responsible for upload of BOM to PLM. Interfaces with PMC on BOM structure changes.
- Final confirmation on WI/line layout/standard time/process flow chart
- Check the quality of the product and identify the error or faults and confirm with the quality plan.
- NPI checklist review & MP handover meeting
- Provide training to production operators or other functional engineers if required.
- Organize supporting engineering resources for Quotations.
- All other duties as assigned within Pre-NPI & NPI project phases.
- Deal with other assignments assigned by the seniors.
Qualification Required
- College degree or above, major in mechanical, electronic or equivalent
- 3 years or above EMS/Medical NPI project management working experience
