Job Description
Asia HR is looking for an Accounting Manager based in Myeik, Myanmar for a leading multinational conglomerate that comprises four diverse business Divisions (Restaurant, Industrial, Food & Polymer Engineering) with operations that span across the ASEAN region and Japan.
- Review the company’s account, ensure timely preparation of financial and statutory requirements
- Preparation of annual budget, monthly rolling forecast and weekly flash report.
- Validate and track budget and rolling forecast as well as the key changes to performance
- Analysing and interpreting statistical and accounting information for management decision making
- Analyse costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and company’s actual performance compared to the business plans
- Develop and implementation of standard costing template in which Sales and Marketing Department based upon for quotations.
- Develop marginal cost P&L account format to facilitate better pricing strategy by the management.
- Scheduling and coordination of inventory count and involvement in physical count, overseeing inventory management and Inventory reconciliation.
- Responsible for cash flow management of the Group through active reviews of collections and payments, arrangement of funds transfers and assessment of Group’s funding needs, where necessary
- Responsible for co-ordination, compilation and monitoring of cash flow forecasts up to 6 months or such period as determined by Management from time to time.
- Supervise a team of cashier to ensure that follow the company policy for the operations
- Establish the corporate financial policies and manual for the Group. Monitor and ensure compliance in all financial and tax matters
- Review of internal control processes and ensure the integrity of financials in accordance with company practice
- Review the internal controls to ensure both business and operational efficiency is maximized
- Continuous improvement on accounting process and system. Work towards fully integrated accounting system.
Qualification Required
- Candidate must possess at least a Professional Degree or qualification in Finance/Accountancy
- At least 8 years of experience in related field and managerial position. Preferable with audit working experience. Prior experience in General Accounting and costing background will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical skill with the ability to work independently and meet tight reporting deadlines.
- Possesses self-initiative and assertive, able to communicate with people of all levels
- Good communications skills with fluent in English & willing to travel
- Acts as a bridge between the business unit and the other finance functions
